I purchased this for the multiple crimping sizes over the single size crimpers. It works well enough however the hand cranks (flowers) are thin and have sharp plastic edges to them, they’re a bit awkward to handle. Sometimes while turning my fingers will just slip over the edges and catch in the gears and yes it hurts. This product would be greatly improved if, like the smaller single crimpers, it featured a handle mounted on to the flower so you don’t potentially hurt yourself when using it. As such I wouldn’t recommend this for kids but adult crafters will benefit from it once you get your technique down.
